1er Congreso internacional de la RIIA
“Movilidades y transformaciones: Perspectivas de las Américas”
En junio de 2019, RIIA, en colacoración con BAYLAT y el Instituto Central de Investigación Regional de la FAU, organizó el primer evento académico internacional titulado “Movilidades y transformaciones: Perspectivas de las Américas”

Centrado en problematizar la circulación de ideas, personas y productos a través de las Américas, este evento contó con la participación de expertos internacionales y locales en temas de cultura, política, literatura, construcción de paz y reconciliación y estudios de la comunicación. A lo largo del evento se realizaron 4 páneles de discusión en inglés y español, una presentación de poesía, un cine foro y 3 conferencias magistrales.
Entre los expertos participantes destacamos:
- Annasophia Heintze, ACNUR (Alto Comisionado de las Naciones Unidas para los Refugiados)
- Luis Berneth Peña, Centro de Estudios de Reconciliación, Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena
- Rory Alejandra Rojas, Directora de Arte de la Asociación Communic’arte, París, Francia
- Fabio Jurado, Universidad Nacional de Colombia
- Natalia Velásquez, investigadora doctoral en KU Eichstätt-Ingolstadt

In June 2019, RIIA, in collaboration with BAYLAT and the Central Institute of Regional Research of the FAU, organized its first international academic event entitled “Mobilities and
Transformations: Perspectives of the Americas”.

Centered on problematizing the circulation of ideas, people, and products throughout theAmericas, this event was attended by international and local experts in culture, politics, literature, peace-building and reconciliation, and communication studies. Throughout the event there were 4 discussion panels in English and Spanish, a poetry presentation, a film forum and 3 master lectures.
Among the experts who joined us we highlight:
