Quienes somos

RIIA (Red de Investigación Interdisciplinaria de las Américas) es una red de investigación y cooperación fundada en la Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, que fomenta, apoya y facilita el intercambio académico y profesional, principalmente entre Alemania (Europa) y las Américas. Reúne a estudiantes, graduados, investigadores y profesores que trabajen e investiguen sobre el continente americano para contribuir a quebrantar las relaciones asimétricas de poder y las dinámicas históricas de dominación y vulneración en las Américas, visibilizando y dinamizando iniciativas de producción de conocimiento y de transformación social.

About Us

RIIA (Interdisciplinary Research Network on the Americas) is a network of cooperation and research established in the Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg that encourages, supports and enables the academic and professional exchange, mainly between the Americas and Germany (Europe). The network brings together students, alumni, researchers and professors who work and investigate about the american continent with the aim to contribute, through visualizing and revitalizing initiatives/efforts of knowledge production and social transformation, in the cracking down of the asymmetrical power relations and the historical domination and transgression dynamics in the Americas.
